Sim from CA prays,
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me” (Psalm 23:4). Or the beginning to Psalm 46, which is particularly applicable to the present coronavirus outbreak: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way” (Psalm 46:1-2). “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me” (John 14:1). Our God is the object of our trust and our hope. We rely ultimately on his word and his ways. As God’s church, then, let's aim to biblically navigate fear, faith, and love in this trying time, for however long our Lord sees fit for this coronavirus outbreak to continue. God keep us safe and protect my family and friends. Amen.
